There will be an Aerial Workshop Performance by the students on Thursday night and likely a Circus Performance for all the guests on Friday night. Join us for 7 days in paradise for this aerial silk workshop hosted by the amazing Christine Van Loo. Balance, stretch, strengthen, expand, relax, and enjoy. All levels welcome! You will learn new aerial and acrobatic skills, the secrets to creating a spellbinding routine, improve your technique, stimulate your creativity, aerial & acrobatic conditioning, how to move naturally in the air, act creation, performance tips and more. If requested, private lessons tailored to your own individual needs are available for an additional charge. They must be booked prior to arriving.
These workshops are for people of all ages, and movement experience. We welcome beginners through advanced. The environment is safe and fun and teaching is geared toward the level of the student. Whether you are looking for a unique and fun experience, to learn and improve your aerial skills or to create an aerial act, this retreat is for you.

Workshop Instructor Christine Van Loo
Christine Van Loo, a 7 time consecutive National Champion, Female Olympic Athlete of the Year and Athlete of the Decade, She was a trainer and performer on NBC’s Celebrity Circus. As a professional aerialist and acrobat she has performed in the 2002 Olympics, at two Grammy Awards (with No Doubt and with Ricky Martin), at the American Music Awards (with Aerosmith), the Miss Universe Pageant, and Paul McCartney’s European tour, as well as several feature films, television shows and music videos. She choreographed the aerials for Britney Spears World Tour and the Stars on Ice US tour. Currently she is touring with Cirque de la Symphonie.
What to Expect
One and a half hours per day to explore new forms of movement and aerial & acrobatic skills. You are free to take whatever classes you like. Classes are included in the price of the workshop and the rest of the day you can enjoy your own activities. Some of the local activities include yoga, bird watching, canopy tours, fishing, horseback riding, waterfall hikes, and much more.
Reasonably good health. No experience required. Beginners through advanced aerialists are welcome. You do not need to be an aerialist to attend.
