Vinyasa Krama yoga is the style of yoga that is practiced and taught by the Indian Yoga master, Sri R. Krishnamacharya. This style of yoga is the art and science of take the elements of yoga into a sequence where they are effective and create a safe practice. Yoga teacher training knows how to take the application of yoga methods and create something for the individual student.

Vinyasa refers to art. In Vinyasa Krama yoga the body, breath and mind are all combined to bring you a unified state of harmony and attention. Vinyasa also refers to variation. Vinyasa Krama yoga teaching uses many different variations of each posture in yoga to fully explore all the possibilities of your body and to acquire the traditional goals of yoga through steadiness and comfort.

Krama refers to the meaning of order or method. In Vinyasa Krama yoga teaching, the postures or organized in a logical sequence. Through each variation of sequence is linked to the next with the transitional movements while the entire practice is connected with the deep breathing. Each one of your yoga poses can be gradually reached through the easier vinyasas and then they can be slowly mastered by moving through each variation. This is the best way to move your body through the sequences in a healthy and gentle process without forcing or straining yourself. Through this process your breath and mind also undergo their own transformation.
