Workshops: There will be three very special workshops offered to our guests this week. The first one is called, “Meditation & Myofascial Release“, the second one is, “The Magic of Awareness“, and the third, “Arm Balances and Head Stands”. Each workshop is $20, or $50 for all three. Kim Goyette is a yogini, mother and lover of life. She began her yogic journey in 2006 when she was searching for balance while working in an extremely stressful position in corporate America. Her love of yoga grew as her personal practice provided a powerful way to rejuvenate her energy and nourish herself. Her positive experience motivated her to share these meaningful tools with others by becoming a yoga teacher.
Kim has her Masters in Exercise Science from Texas State University, has completed her 200-hour yoga certification and has studied and practiced meditation for the past ten years. She has been teaching corporate, private and public yoga classes and retreats for over seven years. Her passion for bringing life balance to the hectic worlds of her students, drove her to develop programs for the community that provide tools for overall well-being and self-care.
As an international teacher and student of yoga and co-owner of Fitness 4 Mind & Body, Kim empowers her students to have wellness of mind, body and spirit. She believes everyone comes from a place of wholeness and encourages students to have acceptance, compassion and loving-kindness toward themselves and others. Kim supports an integrated experience by guiding asana from the foundation of breath incorporating practices of pranayama, mantra, mudra, meditation, and personal ritual.
Kim enjoys teaching Hatha, Hatha Flow and Yin yoga, where students have the opportunity to venture deeper into the mind-body connection. She provides individual adaptations for postures to ensure practicing yoga is accessible and safe for all whom she teaches. Kim believes students should walk away from a yoga class feeling nourished and rejuvenated. Her classes focus on the individual needs of each student, as she nurtures their development and personal growth.
Scott Goyette is a former collegiate basketball player, triathlete and all-around sports fanatic. Today, Scott spends most of his time speaking on the topics of “Life Balance and Wellness” to audiences around the world. Additionally, he is the author of MVP of Intuitive State, and Speaking of Success. As co-owner of Fitness 4 Mind & Body, inspirational speaker, accomplished author, life coach and health and wellness educator, he is committed to the emotional, physical and intellectual development of every individual he trains and/or coaches. He is the founder of Go Love Now, an organization that teaches the importance of compassion, love and kindness to youth and adults alike. Scott lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Kim and daughter Kayla.
Nourishing the Yogi & Myofiascial Release Workshops
Meditation and Myofascial Release – Scott Goyette
Give yourself the gift of an incredible mind and body healing, as you engage in this guided meditation. While using a rolled yoga mat as a tool to enable myofascial release, you will truly embrace the connection between your mind and your body. As you focus on areas of stress and release adhesions in the muscles, you will also be calming the mind and visualizing the great beauty in this world. This session will be stress relieving and will also leave your body in a blissful state.
The Magic of Awareness – Kim Goyette
Bringing awareness to your yoga practice and your life connects you more deeply with mind, body and spirit. This workshop will teach different techniques to live in the present moment and experience your yoga practice and your world more fully. Through guided breath-work, physical and energetic exercises you will develop the skills to tap into your highest state-of-being.
Arm Balances and Head Stands – Kim Goyette
Balancing postures and inversions can be intimidating. In this workshop you will learn step-by-step energetic and physical techniques to develop effortless balance and master Head Stand and Crow Pose.
